La tenuta di San Polo, per la sua collocazione geografica sul versante sud-est di Montalcino, l’altitudine (450 m s.l.m.) e la combinazione di diverse tipologie di suoli (galestro, alberese, marna), ha tutte le caratteristiche per esserne uno degli interpreti di eccellenza. In un momento di frequenti stravolgimenti climatici, l’osservazione delle diverse annate ci mostra che qui l’andamento fenologico della vite varia, ma non in modo rilevante. La somma di questi fattori ci porta ad ottenere vini sempre più riconoscibili e apprezzati dalla critica internazionale.
