DIARIO DELLA VENDEMMIA 2017 HARVEST DIARY 20 21 Iniziamo con il Merlot di Montluc ed il Cabernet Franc, le varietà più precoci. Non siamo alla ricerca di grappoli con particolare concentrazione, come avviene per il Brunello, al contrario ricerchiamo freschezza per i vini che verranno vinificati in vasche in acciaio, per ottenere uno stile più moderno. We begin with the Merlot at Montluc and the Cabernet Franc, the earliest-ripening varieties. We are not looking for clusters that are especially concentrated, as in the case for Brunello, but instead for freshness for the wines that will be vinified in steel tanks to achieve a more modern style.
