DIARIO DELLA VENDEMMIA 2017 HARVEST DIARY 17 Eccoci tutti presenti anche quest’anno! Finalmente la vendemmia sta iniziando e l’emozione che ogni anno ci accoglie si nota nel volto di ognuno di noi. È una sensazione che abbiamo già provato, ma che ogni volta ci dà quel brivido necessario a partire con la giusta carica. Questa è stata un’annata anomala e difficile: il particolare andamento climatico ha messo a dura prova tutti i produttori della denominazione. Soltanto oggi il nostro enologo Riccardo Fratton , con la consulenza esperta di Luca D’Attoma , ci ha dato una data esatta, domani avrà inizio di buon’ora la vendemmia 2017! Ad accompagnarci ci saranno quattro tirocinanti molto determinati e desiderosi di mettere in pratica le nozioni imparate nelle rispettive università: Giulio Cosentino e Leonardo Vanzo dell’Università di Verona, Raoul Brugnera e Alessandro Piccinin dell’Università di Udine. Here we are, together again this year! The harvest is finally beginning and the excitement that grips us every year can be seen on all our faces. It is a feeling we have experienced before, but every time it gives us a healthy and inebriating shiver, charging us up for the challenge ahead. This was an unusual and difficult year: the weather put a strain on all the producers in the appellation. Just today our winemaker Riccardo Fratton , with the expert advice of Luca D’Attoma , gave us an exact date: the 2017 harvest will begin early tomorrow morning!
