Il vigneto Vignavecchia è molto ripido e ben drenato. La sua esposizione ad Ovest permette di godere delle ore più calde di sole. Il suolo è povero, sassoso e ricco di galestro. È facile riscontrare la particolare mineralità del terreno anche direttamente nel calice: il tannino sapido del Brunello Vignavecchia deriva proprio da questa specifica caratteristica. The Vignavecchia vineyard is very steep and well drained. Its exposure to the west enables it to enjoy the hottest hours of sunshine. The soil is poor, stony and rich in marl. It is easy to discover the particular minerality of the soil directly in the glass, too: the savoury tannins of Brunello Vignavecchia derive from this specific characteristic.
