In today's inspection, we found the first grapes that have ripened. This is the very beginning of veraison, which is coming more calmly than we expected. The vines have slowed down due to the lack of rain (in the last month it rained only 15 mm, if we consider the last 2 months it did 40 mm). In these conditions the vines close their stems to limit transpiration and not suffer from water stress, and therefore slow down consistently their activity.
