The new vines are growing very well and, in this period of particularly high summer temperatures, we entered the vineyard to do a little irrigation. Working the soil surface made sure that the water given reached the roots, as did the heat, which is useful to stimulate the activity of the plant even more.

This working of the soil also helps to interrupt the capillary rise of the water to the surface, and allows to maintain an area of humidity around the roots of the plant, a very favorable condition in these early stages of the life of the vine.
