We continue our path with the intention of improving our approach and maintaining our philosophy which is driven by complete respect for the environment. From this year we are also integrating a vision based on HOMEOPATHY. In fact, we are carrying out some tests on the use of totally natural infusions to strengthen the vines. These are not chemical substances, but rather a support system that boosts the vineyard’s general health by increasing the vine’s natural defenses. For example, we are studying the effects of chamomile extract, calendula, and brown algae applied to both the leaves and the soil as fertilizer. These extracts are combined based on the desired effect. Some extracts have healing properties, other extracts have energising capabilities which support the vine’s physiological defenses and improve its health conditions in a natural way. Other substances have antimicrobial properties and are used against stressors both biotic (for example, insects and botrytis) and abiotic (such as the effects of excessive heat, cold, or drought).
