We move forward with our work on the new vineyard’s soil. Now is the time to proceed with more profound tillage after the ploughing in October. During the winter, a surface crust formed on the soil which means our work now must be more assertive. We then continue with the deep tillage of the soil, moving and breaking the soil to a depth of 30-40 cm. We use a simple crawler tractor because these operations are delicate and we adapt our work to each area as early as the preparation phase. Soon this soil will be home to a new, fully operational vineyard and the rootstock we are going to plant must find as hospitable soil as possible.
